A fragile climbing wall, broken-ish gym, at-your-own-risk playground, a site continues to be reimagined,- a soft bar, hard mats, invisible bodies, holds(some are more trustworthy than others), broken weights, scaffold tubes, and everything in between these things. Space, material, and shapes. Movements. Multi-dimensional. Maze. Problems. Navigation. Mapping. Things we know and things we don’t know. Problem-solving. How do we approach problems? Good vibes. Colours. Distance between objects and audiences. Images. What’s been captured and what’s escaped. Escapism. Space interrupted. How do we move between here and there? Strength. Dichotomies. Binaries. I struggle with them. Soft powers. Quote from Tarkovsky’s Stalker, about flexibility and softness. Productivity. Freedom. Constrains. Gravity. Deconstruction.
